This was a big job for us to get just right. Old concrete had to be ground off before applying a DPM (damp proof membrane) and then a smoothing compound before we could fit this beautiful solid wood parquet. Once fitted we finished it by sanding the surface and applying a hard wax oil. It was great to put the knowledge from our wood flooring course to good use on this job.
